GRAPPA Workshop New insights in Psoriatic Diseases

PRESENTATION

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a multifaceted and complex condition that occurs in approximately 15-30% of people with psoriasis, in which several musculoskeletal domains are involved (peripheral, dactylitis, axial, enthesitis), as well as various skin manifestations, including nail.

Beyond the musculoskeletal and skin involvement, PsA is associated with extra-articular manifestations and comorbidities that might increase the burden of the disease.

The Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA) is a multi-national network including rheumatologists, dermatologists and other physicians, as well as patients research partners and biopharmaceutical industry representatives.

The GRAPPA group has developed some educational workshops all around the globe, aimed to provide educational and support for rheumatologists, dermatologists and other physicians in understanding new insights in pathogenesis, assessment and treatment approaches in PsA based on disease domains and comorbidities. Moreover, the workshop is also designed to share clinical experience between physicians and the international faculty of experts in the field.
